About Rachel Hall Kirk

Rachel Hall Kirk’s abstract artwork, which she has shown nationally, is based on patterns found in nature and combines elements of both drawing and painting. She joined the faculty of Central Washington University as a drawing professor in 2014. She earned an MFA in drawing and painting in 2004 from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In addition to teaching and creating new artwork, Rachel enjoys gardening, loving on her cat and two dogs, and being a nature enthusiast. While she finds very little joy in the act of running, she loves reaching goals and is proud to have completed four half-marathons.
